Latinos Unidos Siempre

A collaboration between Latinos Unidos Siempre (LUS) and Salem Art Association brings a graffiti art exhibition forward that reflects the work of LUS to combat local and national systemic and social issues impacting people of color and youth. This project discusses the complex history of graffiti as well as connects the social, political and cultural issues of graffiti through youth advocacy and representation in the urban arts. A community discussion will be held on the school-to-prison pipeline and how the criminalization of urban arts fuels this issue.
